Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Paro – Transfer to Thimphu

Overnight: Thimphu

Arrive at Paro International Airport with scenic Himalayan flight views
Meet & greet by Anytime-Adventure Tours representative
Drive to Thimphu (1–1.5 hrs)
Visit:
- Memorial Chorten
- Buddha Dordenma Statue
- Evening stroll in Thimphu town

Day 02: Thimphu Sightseeing

Overnight: Thimphu

- Tashichho Dzong (fortress & monastery)
- National Institute for Zorig Chusum (traditional arts & crafts)
- Motithang Takin Preserve
- Folk Heritage Museum

Day 03: Thimphu – Dochula Pass – Punakha

Overnight: Punakha / Wangdue

Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass (3,100m)

Day 04: Punakha Valley Exploration

Overnight: Punakha / Wangdue

Easy hike to Chimi Lhakhang (Fertility Temple)

Day 05: Punakha – Paro

Overnight: Paro

Buddhist Pilgrimage to Tibet 🙏

Last week, my friends and I went on a 12-day Buddhist pilgrimage to Lhasa, Tibet. We booked our trip through the local travel agency, Anytime Adventure Tours Bhutan, and we were extremely happy with the entire experience.

All the arrangements were very well organized, including transportation, hotels, and overall travel arrangements. Everything went smoothly, allowing us to focus on our spiritual journey and enjoy the pilgrimage.

Had a wonderful trip to Bhutan with Any Time Adventure Tours from 10/04/2026 to 17/04/2026.
From pickup at Bagdogra Airport to the complete Bhutan tour, everything was very well planned and smoothly executed by Mr. Ugyen and his team. We were a group of 30 people, including 24 senior citizens, and the team took excellent care of our safety, comfort, and health throughout the journey.
